President and CEO, Paddock Chevrolet

Duane R. Paddock is President and CEO of Paddock Chevrolet, one of the most successful automobile dealerships in the United States and ranked seventh worldwide in overall volume for Chevy dealers.

Paddock Chevrolet is located in the Village of Kenmore outside of Buffalo, New York.  Duane has overseen unprecedented growth in sales, dealership size, employment and reputation. He is the fourth generation of owner/dealer in a legacy of business advancement, personal accomplishment and commitment to the community.

Throughout a career spanning over two decades, Duane has led the corporation to regional and national acclaim. This record of achievement, includes Paddock being named the largest passenger Chevrolet dealership in the world (2003, 2004. 2005. 2006), and the number one GM dealer in New York State, eight out of nine years.  Nationally, Paddock Chevrolet was rated number four in overall sales (2004), earning Duane the Jack Smith Award, the most prestigious honor bestowed by General Motors to the top 100 dealers across America (awarded in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006).  Paddock received the worldwide distinction of number one in total sales among Chevy dealers for February and June 2006.

The dealership also received GM's "Mark of Excellence," a prestigious award given to fewer than 200 dealerships nationwide based on sales and customer satisfaction.

Duane's leadership skills have been tapped by colleagues, charities and numerous business organizations. He serves as Co-chair of General Motor’s Northeast Region Dealer Council and represents the Northeast on the National Dealer Council.  He has been a champion of GM’s Arlington Project, a prototype marketing effort to ensure that GM’s national messaging is promoted through innovative local initiatives in targeted markets.  He is a former member of the Chevrolet Marketing Advisory Board and served on the New Passenger Car Development Advisory Board.

Locally Duane is president of the local Chevrolet marketing group, a past-president of the Niagara Frontier Automobile Dealers Association, and is a member of the Kenmore-Tonawanda Chamber of Commerce and the Ken-Ton Merchants Association.  His record of community service and commitment to helping others is a reflection of the values instilled during his childhood in the Town of Tonawanda, NY.

While supportive of a variety of worthy local causes, Duane has chosen to focus personal attention on the Hunter's Hope Foundation, founded by former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly and his wife Jill after their infant son, Hunter, was diagnosed with Krabbe Disease. In 2004, Paddock donated a Chevy Super Sport Roadster for a special raffle that raised over $50,000 toward finding a cure. Duane and his wife Pamela partnered with Jim and Jill Kelly to co-chair the 2006 Hunter’s Hope Gala.

Another organization that receives significant personal support from Duane is the International Dyslexia Association, for which he actively participates through speaking engagements and fundraising activities.  Duane and his wife Pamela reside in Clarence, New York with their children.
