History of Paddock Chevrolet
Paddock Chevrolet has been serving the Western New York region for over 77 years. We are a family owned Dealership with strong ties to the Buffalo area. Paddock Chevrolet is proud of its community involvement and the many charitable organizations and events that we sponsor.
The dealership was founded in 1935. Owner Duane Paddock's father purchased it in 1967 when it was known as Lou Awald Chevrolet, and changed the name to Paddock Chevrolet in 1986. Being a small town dealer, Duane Paddock has grown Paddock Chevrolet from selling a hand full of vehicle’s a year to over 6,000 vehicles a year. Paddock Chevrolet has also went from having 28 employees in 1984 to 171 employees in 2012.
Throughout a career spanning over two decades, Duane has led the corporation to regional and national acclaim. This record of achievement includes Paddock being named the largest passenger Chevrolet dealership in the world (2003 - 2011), and the number one GM dealer in New York State, for 13 straight years since 1999. Paddock Chevrolet has earned the Jack Smith Award (2002 - 2011), the most prestigious honor bestowed by General Motors to the top 100 dealers across America. The dealership also received GM's "Mark of Excellence," a prestigious award given to fewer than 200 dealerships nationwide based on sales and customer satisfaction.
